But then again for us poor people whats the point in spending $2000 in rims when after one pot hole or one stupid turn the rims are trash.

Indeed, I'm going to steals my girlfriends wheels one day and swap em with my junk 17s haha.

If you like black with a polished lip, ever think about the R-1 Drifts? I love em and would probably have em if I had the loot to spend.

The R1s look too close to the 2G 17s I might as well spend $700 less and get the stock ones

True, they do look similiar to the stock 2g wheels but the size of the offset and width of the wheel is what I really like. I had a chance to pick up a set of 3g gsx lookalike wheels for $100 bucks but I had to pass because of the narrow 6.5" width.

I've been driving on rims from Volks, Works, Sprint Harts, etc. for years and I have never dented or curbed a rim, if you drive like a rational person than you won't have a problem. Because if it was me I would keep your stock wheels till you can't put something nice on the car.. why waste your money on junk rims when you can wait and have the real deal?

Real deal, fake deal its all the same to me. The rims I have now arent volks, works... but they look decent and are larger and wider then stock. I curbed my wheels exactly 1 month after I put them on and it was the worst night of my life.
