Im looking to get some new rims
I'm looking to get some new rims for my 96 RS... however I'm looking for wider rims then the stock, so they stick out a little from the fenders.. Could anyone suggest a good size rim for this? (dimensions)

Why do you want them to stick out past the fenders? If so you will have to get fender flares since it wont pass inspection here in PA if the tires are out past the fenders fyi

I'm well aware that if i take it to get it inspected it will not pass however, I do not need to worry about that
Why do I want it.. I just like it when the wheel/rim sticks out a little

If you want them to poke out and have your car look like a roller-skate, try a 17x8 with a +30 to +35mm offset. If you want them to tuck and be nice and flush, try a +40.
If you want them to be seriously wider, you could try a 17x9 with a 245/40 and a 30-35 offset. Again, this is if you want them to stick out.
You will be spitting crap up the side of your car with wheels that stick out, just as a point of information. They wont be all that practical if theyre sticking out, both from a daily driving and performance perspective. Your're going to need a pretty stiff spring, especially in the rear. Think 350-400#, and a shock that can handle that (Koni Sports).

certainly a mind numbing though and the cholo ride comment I would not them sticking out for exactly what Pres says they will be throwing crap everywhere . I hope you don't have a nice paint job a few stones will ding the sheetmetal and trash the paint job in those areas.
