Potholes suck
I bent a rim, I don't know how bad it is or if i can keep driving on it. I hate that I pay taxes and there are potholes everywhere, WTF? So I guess I am going to get a new rim, I made a WTB thread in the For Sale section, if anyone has an extra rim they are willing to sell let me know. I'm so mad right now!
I guess it's not bent that bad, but I don't know?

I'd be very very worried about your tire blowing out. Do you see how it is bubbling like that? Not good.

Just out of curiosity. How fast were you going and did you have the wheel turned at all when you hit the pothole?

Like Kain said, I'd be more worried about the tire separating inside than the rim being bent. If it's still holding air, the rim is obviously still driveable. But if an alien lookin' thing starts growing out the side of your tire, replace it immediately!
In Jacksonville, if you file a complaint against the city, you'll get a reimbursement for the damage on your wheel and tire.

i think most if not all cities are like that. the only condition that i know of is your car needs to have stock wheels and stock ride height.

Well, it's been like that for 3 days, and it is still holding air. I have not been driving on it very much. I was doing about 30mph as i turned right off of a rural highway onto a side road and BAM, It sounded really bad. I pulled over to check everything but it was pitch black outside and i couldn't see anything. Then the next day I saw this, I was super pist. I plan on replacing the rim, but I have to find one I can afford (college is expensive).

Potholes suck, I lost a 19" like that. Illinois would laugh if I wanted reimbursement for damages. One more reason not to move here.

That's what I thought our city would do, but I believed it when I saw the actual reimbursement. I'd like to see them reimburse me for one of my wheels. Hahaha! I better not jinx myself.

I feel your pain, bent rims suck! Blew a tire out once, it was a perfectly good wheel and tire then it went out one night. Didn't really notice that the tire blew out till it flew off the rim (keep in mind mine are 18s) and the rim hit the pavement around 55mph. I was so #@&$@*@!(pissed when that happened.
