Change that gay rule man! I dont care to request a price because 99.99% of the time, peaople are going to negotiate anyway and 99.99% of the time, unless "firm" is stated, the seller will give into the counter-offer. Gayest rule ever incorporated!

If you have a problem with the rules (which I must mention have been here since the last time I saw you on here), then sell your items elsewhere.

Actually I think it's a great rule to protect the buyer. Otherwise they might waay over offer and be ripped off. The seller should post for a little bit higher than they expect to count for hagglers.

It's safer for both parties, as kandy said, if the seller sets the price. It is a good rule. This forum's BST rules are not as strict as some others I'm a part of.

HIDplanet requires the username and the date of sale included IN the pictures which are required. Strictly no eBay auctions, paypal addresses are edited out promptly, and no offers allowed.

It's a lot of rules and steps... but in the end, they're there for everyone's protection. Please follow them.

I believe its a safe rule... like everybody else is saying... It protects both the buyer and seller from ripping off/ getting ripped off... If you list your prices and somebody doesn't like them, well, thats not your fault.

I have an Idea... how about, you have to be a Gold member in order to buy/sell on T2g... ?

Setting a price helps the seller not get low-balled to hell, and it helps others determine what is an acceptable value to charge or pay in the future.

Set a price. If you are okay with receiving a relatively low amount of money for your parts - set your prices accordingly.

Regardless of what you like - the rules are the rules and they must be followed.
