Hmm lets see,

1. I hope your willing to learn a shit load if your going to build for turbo and wanting to be the best and blah blah blah.

2. In the long run you want to go higher then 8 psi, rebuild your engine first with forged internals imo.

3. What are your power goals?

4. searchhhhhhhhh till you go blind

Wtf are you talking about?
How many 420A engines have had crankwalk...none. With the right internals and tuning a 420A could and would hold as much if not more boost than any 4g63 and it would hold it longer. Like i said more dependable.

I don't know about that. I have a 400hp 420a, and it is not dependable. Just because the engine can handle the power doesn't mean everything else can. We don't really have any options as far as transmisions go. I just had to rebuild mine because it can't handle that much power very well, or for very long, and when this one goes, I'll have to rebuild it again, there are no upgrades available for it. There isn't as much after market support for the 420a as there is for the 4g63 and it is A LOT more expensive to get the same kind of power out of the 420a that is easily atainable with the 4g63. Believe me I know, I have more than $12,000 into my engine, I could only imagine what I could have done to a 4g63 with that same abount of money.

You need to do a lot more research before stating false information such as this. I've already had a boosted RS and now I have a GSX. My GSX is so much better plus it was made to boost from the factory. What kind of DSM holds the record right now? One that has a built 4g63 in it, not a 420a. Stock internals on a 420a suck balls compared to stock internals on a 4g63. 8 psi vs. 21 psi.

You tell me.

Ktumlin, shush your mouf. I don't know how you managed to come in here sporting a whopping eight posts and a pretty much stock gs, talking about the 420A being far superior to the 4g63. Hmm what does brent rau use? built 4g63? what does ktumlin use:420a? 420A must be better. And you have stats or instances to back up a built 420A would hold more boost longer. The guys that have or have had built 420A's are on here saying they aren't dependable, what do you know? and you said not for him to bother with a cold air intake since it will be useless when he boosts, true, but you list a cold air intake in your mods sections of your profile Mister Boost Expert. Might as well put a honda motor in there? what? that doesn't even being to make sense.
