Those are electric superchargers not belt driven. So they are basically turbos without lag time. I wonder how many batteries they need though...

I don't know, but you can run them at 7 lbs, so It might be cool.

5000 AA batteries should be fine.

More like 1 car battery, or a better alternator.

I dont think he is talking about the electric one near the top, the eaton one is a little bit further down the page and that one is belt driven. And I have never seen a kit for that so I dont know if it is bogus or not, plus he doesnt have a listing in his inventory for it. All I see is gay fan wannabe superchargers. I saw this kid "out were all the cars meet up" that was asking me questions about turbo'n his eclpse then the next week I saw him with that damn fan thing and I wanted to punch him in the face, I havent spoke to him since.

A REAL supercharger would be pretty sweet, but the electric ones are gay. This one claims 7lbs boost. I was just wondering If anybody has seen or heard of this one.

It's an Eaton Supercharger which is belt driven and found on the early 90's Bonneville's with the 3.8L V6. Before I turbo'd Claire I did a decent amount of research on supercharging the 420a and had this idea too to use the Eaton Supercharger. It's great that they've finally come out with this I think.

I'd really like to be able to get one. I want to turbo my car but a s/c would be better for my style of driving. I'm a torque whore.

Get you a fast spooling turbo such as a 14b or something of that size.

They posted about this over at the mitsu forums awhile back and so far I've heard nothing new on it. I think this guy is just another "hair dryer" salesman.

"Eaton SC Kit for the Eclipse! 2004-02-16"

LOL, 900$ hair dryer.

The stock long block 420A does not respond well to the 3800 SC. Its been custom made by at least two people I know of and it got spanked by a basic DIY turbo kit with a rather small turbo.
