I have no doubt that is true but for people like me (who like to try to make their vehicle more of a unique one), i would gladly spend the extra money. Course, I wouldn't be running a stock engine though either if I would s/c it.

whats so gay about supercharging? it's nothing more than a personal preference on which way to boost said car. So what if turbo charging is "better" in the aspect of power for your money. With so many turbo'ed eclipses running around, it'd be nice to see a change. Not to mention that it would give you the opportunity to make your car more "you". Not knocking turbo's, just stating an opinion.

I wouldn't run just turbo but super/turbo charged. That way you eliminate lag and have a really trackable car. That would be sweet. Although I don't know if it's doable and you'd prolly need a tuner sent from god.

avenger 95

do a 2.4 swap built with srt-4 internals
supercharged it with an Eaton unit
put a megasquirt standalone
and you will reach an incredible torque level that will make GSX owners cry

The supercharged guy who left here left because he made claims and never backed them up when asked. He in FACT stated that he was pulling the SC off the car in favor of a turbo kit. Running SC and turbo is plain stupid unless you are in excess of say..800hp and your turbo lags THAT much. A properly sized turbo will have almost no lag at all. Nothing wrong with a SC setup, I just don't think this is a platform that warrants the effort.

Thats why all the honda queers use turbos, the only ones useing superchargers are the ones that want to be different. Tho it would be nice to see how eclipse turbo vs supercharger match up in real life.
