One thing you need to know is that people here are biased. They think that the only way to do something is by yourself and full out. Meaning, don't turbo unless you plan on building up the engine later, don't turbo if you can't do it yourself, and if you have to ask then buy a GSX.

The turbo kits were given earlier up the thread a little. Shop cost will be the same if not more. That puts you in the 5-6k region which is about how much you;d spend on a GSX or GS-T so in this case everyone is pretty much right. Buy a GSX

Then I would give up your dream of turbocharging that vehicle. If you don't learn to do it yourself, you won't learn to fix the things that break, and things WILL break. But, if you still want to pay someone else to do it, get ready to spend about 6k getting it done, minimum.
