I would just take the car out for a drive and see how it performs, and if you can build boost correctly and don't worry if its blown since they will replace it anyway.

That's excatly right!!

Now check this out.

I started the car, and left it on this time.. for about an hour.
The smoke significantly deminished.

I turned the car off and on for about 3 ours (jumpstarting it)... and after a while the battery got charged enough to start on its own.
I drove around the block and attempted to give a bit of gas. Nothing severe, and it seemed to accelerate nicely... but I didn't give a lot of gas.

It started 3 or 4 times without any problems.

Then I prepared to go on the road, and fill the gas up. While running I changed the plates etc. etc.

I get ready to go, but just to make sure I wouldn't get stranded I turned off the car and attempted to start it up again.

Battery was dead dead, and my oil metter dropped completely to the bottom.

The weird thing is, that even when I connected the Eclipse to my other car to jump it, STILL it didn't want to . Turn the ignition and all you hear is a tick tick.

after continuous trying, It worked again and weakly it started.

The stranger thing is, that I checked the oil level using the stick, and the oil is fine.

Why doesn't the oil meter in the car recognise any oil?

This is exactly what happened when my t25 leaked (only difference, when I checked the oil level then there was nothing inside).

I checked for leaks, I checked under the car, on the floor, the turbo (from what I could see), no oil leaks at all.

WTH?????

I'm SO desperately waiting for an answer. I want to drive it tomorrow to work. Please if any of you can continue to help me like you have thus far, I'd be so appreciative.

thanks man.

Frustrated and hopeless...

I did some reading.

Let me know what you guys think.

Like you all know, my car has been sitting for more than a year.

Is it possible my oil filter is plugged?

if so, would this conclusion still hold , knowing that the car drove fine for a while, with normal oil pressure. (hey.. the oil guage in the car, does that tell you pressure??? man I always thought it was oil LEVEL).

I (obviously ) just changed my oil.

If it is the oil filter, I guess I have to change it again right? or can I reuse this oil since it is basically new. (driven for like 200 meters or so).

Also, the oil level/pressure was FINE.. and then is SUDDENLY just dropped.

let me know what you guys think.

thanks

Hey gang,...

FALSE Alarm

If I tell you what happened I'd probably get banned instantly for stupidity!!!!
So lets not go there,

All I'll say is that I have oil pressure...

YESSSS

Now I'm installing the boost guage, then the turbo timer and I'll be racing down the hood dawgs!!

now

Let me continue to pester all you guys.

this guage comes with a little sheet on instructions how to install it... and it is barely even in english.

"Double-sided type" instead of double sided tape..

was wondering if any of you could put it all in moron terms.

like the red wire goes to the blue thingie.. something I can understand.

Yeah...

I had already ordered it when 7Incher caught I ordered an electrical one.

I'll try to return it, but I doubt they'll do it.

Right now I'm holding off installing the guage... as I'm not floring the car anyways.

I'm now going to install the turbo timer.

I'm looking on how to's now on this forum to install the timer.

:)

If you think it is important I'll do it, so be it!

I'll do it right after I'm done with the timer.

Anyone know this...

Onthe ECU, where is the parking brake wire?

I hate when you buy a product, and the installation guide isn't complete!!!

I have a hard time finding which wire the parking brake wire is.

Any help on this?

I ASSUME it is at the base of the hand brake, a green and red wire.

I'd love confirmation on this.

Thanks gang
