Nice writeup looks like you got alot of work ahead of ya. Maybe an engine bath and new upper rad hose. Do you plan on getting a 2Gb front bumper?

I'm getting ready to put in a 14B myself and have all the parts necessary with the exception of the couplers. I've looked all over the place online and can't find one that is 4" long, they all seem to be 3". Where did you get the 4" long coupler? Thanks.

The way I'm reading it is that all those couplers are 3" long, the last one is
4" I.D.
I'm looking for one that is 4" long and 2.25" I.D.

well i wanted a convertible, so 420a was out of the question, and the car i got was the only one in good condition with low miles, so now i'm appreciating the fact i got a turbo car, my 16g goes in this weekend, going to borrow my dads laptop so i can work alongside the write up

Well I am finishing up my 14b/16g (bought it as a 14b then realized it was a 16g ) and I have to say that writeup was great. There were a few things that I noticed were not in there like disconnecting the downpipe racket which is a 14mm that holds the downpipe to the block. You have to do this to let the turbo swing forward. Also I was not able to swing my turbo out with just the oil feed line connected I had to disconnect it along with all the other lines before my turbo would come out. Also I was replacing the O2 sensor housing at the same time so i took it out also which could have caused that. I do not know how you got that bottom far bolt off the o2 housing while it was still in the engine bay but mad props on that one! Also I used an impact gun everywhere I could fit it cause without one that could have taken a while! lol Anyway it is a great writeup that lets you know what to expect before you just jump in and since I read it no less than 50 times while I waited for my parts to come i knew exactly what to do without having to check the comp.
