4500rpm

ok well i disconnected my boost controller and now im running 8psi straight good. My problem now is 2nd gear. I can shift at redline in 1st gear and then shift to second and once im in second my rpms wont go any higher than 4500. I havent tested 3rd or 4th gear yet. I think i might be experiencing fuel cut but i thought it would do it in all gears?? I have a 95 rs with no fcd on it.Whats my problem?

not the clutch. If it was the clutch it would do that in first gear too. And its an exedy stage 2.

Check your wiring to the MAP sensor and make sure no wires are grounding out. Best place to look is around the EGR pipe. If they are fine, trying throwing a spare MAP sensor on and seeing if it's the problem. Have you tried resetting your ECU and seeing if there is any change?

The EGR pipe likes to burn through the wire harnesses in that area, but since you have yours blocked off, that doesn't pertain to you.

Have a CEL? If you do, do the keydance and let us know what it is for. I am thinking your problem is MAP sensor related.

just test drove it and reset the ecu that didnt work. I checked all the wires for the map sensor and i unplugged it and plugged it back in and nothing worked I dont have a cel. I just tried the keydance and my CEL wont come on at all. And yes i did it right.

the power at 4500 stays the same it doesnt stall or anything its just like im rev limited at 4500 but it kinda stutters. I put a new map sensor in and that didnt help the problem it did the same thing in every gear but 1st. Ive only tested it in wot.

Throw an FCD on there if you wanna try it. I have heard of some 95's performing better with some sort of fuel cut defender in place.

Throw a fuel pressure tester on the rail and see where you are at before pulling the injectors all off.
