The WB O2 sensor can't be closer than 16-18" from the outlet of the turbo...its too hot. If its too lean, you need to raise the fuel pressure to get more fuel. The adjustments on the S-FMU are intended to help you adjust the fuel curve from low RPM to redline.

alrite well i just ordered a standalone megasquirt unit for my car that is coming with an innovative LC-1 wideband controller. Now i can ditch the stock ecu and start tuning my car the real way. Would it be ok if i just used the bung where the rear o2 sensor is to plug in the wideband o2 and just leave the stock rear o2 unplugged? I do not have a cat.

Good man! Its ok to use the WB in the rear O2 bung but you will get a SLIGHT amount of lag time from the distance. If you drive your car to a muffler sop, they can add an O2 bung to your downpipe with the exhaust still on the car in like 10 minutes. Cheap too. Megasquirt will still use the factory front O2 sensor for closed loop cruising which is good. Better start reading now, there is plenty to hook up

alright than i guess i'll just stop by an exhaust place then. Hey do you know if it would be better for me to ditch the sfmu and get a 1:1 fpr with the megasquirt?
