idle fp is at 16psi and i had the 2.72 disc in it with the small hard black spring. I just tried the largest disc with the silver weak spring and still no luck at all. I checked my idle fp again and it is now at 14psi of pressure with the largest disc and silver spring. I havent checked the fp while under boost yet with the largest disc and silver spring but im guessing its going to be the same. Any suggestions? Ive read everywhere and it seems like im the only one having a problem.

When you are testing the fuel pressure..how are you doing it? Are you taking the test gauge and laying it on the windshield and shutting the hood over the hose? What is your static fuel pressure set to? (removing the vacuum line from the S-FMU when the car is running)
Are the bleed valves all closed??

When i am testing the fp while driving the car i am laying the tester on the windshield and closing the hood, the hood is definately not pinching the line i checked that. When checking it at idle i just leave the hood popped and check it. My static fp is set to 20-21psi fp. Yes, all bleed valves are closed.

Alright, well...I'm pretty rusty on how to determine the fuel pressure you SHOULD be getting at 8psi. I do believe you said you're running 450cc DSM injectors with a resistor pack, a S-AFC and a S-FMU with which disc size? Kinda busy so I can't browse the whole thread, sorry. I'm pretty sure you should be hitting around 43psi at 8 psi.

I gotta look at mine but I'm pretty sure there is an o-ring that seals it.

well for now i just screwed another screw in on top of the boost screw and its not leaking anymore. I used a new vac line and ran it to the intake mani and then test drove the car and it still stutters at 4500rpm in every gear. I tested the sfmu to see if it was leaking again and it wasnt.

Well, you gotta find out why you aren't getting enough fuel pressure at WOT. You don't own a wideband yet I assume (you reallllllly should!!!!!) cuz I bet you'd see that its going WAY lean. Its gonna be a troubleshooting task for you to do on your own at this point I'm afraid.

well i am in a situation right now where i have 900 bucks and to get my car painted its 1200 the wideband is 300. I would really like to get my car painted but with a wideband it would point me in the right direction as to if i need less or more fuel. I dont know if i should just buy the wideband now and then try to get that extra 600 for my paint job. I dont have a job right now so im relying on my birthday money =/ which i get in a couple weeks. I dont know what i should do? Your opinion?

Well, if you wanna play with the turbo gods, a wideband is kind of a necessity. I HIGHLY suggest the Zeitronix ZT-2. If you have a laptop you can skip the gauge for now and get it later. I just bought their newest 52mm round gauge for my Evo and its pretty awesome.

yeah thats what i was going to buy in the first place and i just got a new laptop for college so im set with that. Well tomorrow i guess i will make my decision, only thing is i dont feel like taking my exhaust off and welding in another bung ive done that enough. What do i have to do to replace my front o2 sensor with the wideband? My CEL is unpluged so that doesnt matter. Which wire do i use to simulate it being the narrowband for the ecu?

NVM that im just going to use the rear o2 since i dont have a cat, once i get my wideband installed and it says im too lean or rich what ways can i adjust fuel? The only way i can think of is my the disc spring combo in my sfmu or a safc which im definately not going to buy.
