yeah thats the problem im running into right now. I cant adjust my idle fp below 20psi it just wont go. Isnt it difficult though. Can i just use bigger fuel injector hose? What do i do with all the hardline stuff in the engine bay? my car is still stuttering and bogging.

Yeah, upgrading to the stainless steel braided hose that's bigger than the stock return line is the easiest route. Just leave the stock hardpiping alone. Just follow its path and ziptie the new braided hose to the old hardpiping on the way back to the fuel tank.

i unfortunately dont have the money for braided hose. I was just going to use high pressure injector hose. Do you think 3/8" would be big enough to lower my idle fp to around 16psi? Its at around 20-22psi right now. Its only a 4-5psi drop in fp.

i dont know where our last posts went but. I installed the new 3/8" hose and it works like a charm. Now it is still doing that stutter thing. What should i start with? I cant get this car to run right.

What boost level are you currently running? Can it be lowered at all?

8psi of boost. I have an external wastegate and i dont have the money for a smaller spring right now. I wanted to try lowering it to 4psi but i have an 8lb spring. Suggestion?

Get a 4 psi spring, they cost $30 bucks.

will do. If it runs fine with 4psi what all could it be not letting it run 8+ psi? Fuel cut would be eliminated from the list. Not enough or too much fuel or a bad fuel pump are possible? Im going to try to order it tomorrow.

Have you tested and confirmed what fuel pressure you are getting when it hits 8psi? Thats the first bit of info we need from you. While model fuel pump did you install as well? You should be running the Walbro 255LPH, high pressure fuel pump. Part # GSS-342. There really isn't any other fuel pump up to the task.

Alrite well I installed the 4psi spring, but it seemed like it made it worse. It definately didn't solve my problem. Over the next few days I'm going to try to get the fuel pressures for both 4psi and 8psi and I will let you know what I come up with. Could an exhaust leak be causing my problem??

Not at all. Get those fuel pressure readings and we'll go from there

just checked the fuel pressures at 4 and 8psi of boost and it didnt go above 30psi of fuel pressure. Its weird because when i checked it before it was going to like 80psi. I have a sfmu,450cc injectors and a walbro 255. Now what do i do? Check the sfmu since it isnt raising fuel?

What is your idle fuel pressure at? Fuel pressure WILL be lower with the SFMU+450cc combo. What disc and spring combo do you have in the SFMU?

Also, you don't have to bump your own threads after not even a day. If you need answers that bad, do some researching on your own as you wait.
