Just adding a walbro doesn't get you the extra fuel you need. You're leaning out a LOT! With stock injectors, you need to be hitting over 100psi of fuel pressure at 6-8psi. If you didn't add a FMU (not a FCD...very different), thats your problem. 95's dont need ANY FCD at all, you wasted your money. Hook up a fuel pressure tester to the fuel rail, and tell us what boost level and fuel pressure you see when it cuts out.

dude i have a fmu on my car lol. I think the injectors might need to be cleaned or something simple like that. The fmu is hooked up right and so is the fuel pump they are not the problem. How am i suppose to hook up a fuel pressure tester and drive the car at the same time? Cant they tell when i take it to a place that does fuel injector cleaning what the fuel pressure is like when im reving it or something even know its not under boost?

just went out and got the injectors cleaned. It didnt solve the problem. Maybe a new fuel filter?

The fuel pressure tester has a long hose on it. I usually place a roll of electrical tape beside the hose where the hood seal would pinch the hose and then securely close the hood. I prop the gauge on the wiper arm so i can see it while test driving. Just be sure the gauge can read at least 100psi, up to at least 120psi is even better. I use the same one that Autozone loans out to customers. I am betting that its your fuel pressure. Check it ;-)

well if your from michigan your not going to get loaned a fuel pressure tester. They will not loan it out to me. The cheapest one they have is $40 which is ridiculous for me to use it one time. What now?

just read an old thread about someones car running lean. It kind of describes my problem. I have a walbro 255 fuel pump in my car right now that i bought off of ebay in Dec. of 07, maybe i should try buying the walbro 255 high pressure one off of extremepsi and a symtech fcd?

If you aren't using the high pressure pump with stock injectors and an FMU, you'll lean out. Walbro GSS-342. $40 for a fuel pressure tester is way cheaper than a blown engine. If its your fuel pressure, you need to track down where the problem is, is it a clogged filter, bad pump, bad diaphram on the FMU, etc,etc...

If you are running lean at those rom's while boosting, that "bogging" also brings a TON of detonation ( aka; KNOCK) which blows up engines so STOP DOING IT until you can determine the cause, for your own sake.

If you can't get the idle fuel pressure low enough (between 12-20psi) you may need to run a new fuel return line from the SFMU back to the tank. The stock return line is so small that it can have enough resistance to force the fuel pressure to stay higher than yhou want. I ran 4an stainless steel fuel line from jegs.com when I installed mine with the 450's.
