Older pic of mine too. Should have a totally revamped setup in 2 weeks. Mine changes like the weather, lol.
Mike,
did you completely bypass your PCV valve setup?

No, I drew up a crude picture of what I actually did. I wanted an extra vacuum nipple and read that the PCV line has a great response since it's so big. I'm not sure if I'm hurting the flow with it like this, but I worked out fairly well. I might switch it back to the stock way after I redo some vacuum lines again.
EDIT: Just noticed in the pic that the vacuum line is going to the BOV, but that has been changed and the wastegate is hooked up to that port instead.
(The black sections are hose with clamps securing)

Actually, the larger hose would create more lag because of the time it takes to pressurize the entire internal volume. Thats why boost gauges have such small hosing, to make the responsiveness faster. The only reason the wastegate and BOV hoses are larger than that is because of the size of the diaphram inside them that needs to overcome spring tension.
P.S. get a new air filter goddamit! lol

Its his mock-up oil catch can. I've seen people use MANY things for theirs. If its a vented catch can, like his, the structural integrity isn't as important as an inline catch can. I saw a kid who used one of those metal energy drink bottles and he painted it gloss black. He JB welded nipples to it and it has a large opening on the top so he was able to put a good sized air breather filter on it too.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking before I read it, but then I started thinking that would hold true if I was using a bigger vacuum line connected instead of a smaller one like I am using now. Nonetheless, I will probably switch it.

Haha, already did. That's why I said old picture when I posted it.

Exactly Jamie. I kept mine clear though so I could tell from a glance if it had some oil in it. Whenever I take some twisty turns fast and WOT, it fills up a little bit. My old breather filter got soaked because of this so I decided to get creative.

Yeah, just took this to other day after I finished welding it up. I have access to some crazy a** software that a co-worker of mine uses to desegn this kinda stuff. This is gonna be one of four that Im gonna make to try different things, just experimenting for now till I find something that works for what I want. No dyno sheets yet, we're still adding on to the shed for that...but I plan on maxing out the 48lbs accels for now.
