Good job, impressed to see you run in the 13s with auto and 8psi. I wish I can do that when the rebuilt is done =] Just to be sure... exept to the tranny cooler ... no other mod to the tranny like final drive ?

Well, with the new additions I really have no idea. I calculated my estimated HP on Smoke 'em up.com from my setup last season and it said around 300hp (219whp) but those are just guesses. At the DSM shootout I will finally get dyno'd.

Do this:
http://www.2gnt.com/index.php?d=How%...el%20regulator
Just cut it off at the base of the small section shown. I just capped my vacuum port with JB Weld so if the diaphram ever leaked no fuel could ever come out the vacuum port.

i have a question...
why you dont have a complete 3 inch turbo back exhaust? i think that is better than 2" oem catback hehe

Howdy. Couple of things here:
1. His name is Jamie.
2. Reason he has 3" is cause he's turbo.
3. He bought an EVO a good bit ago and hasn't worked on this car since then.
4. Don't revive a thread that's over a year ago.

The purpose of the 3" downpipe was because i was going to install a Y-pipe setup with an actuated bypass valve which would open up when there was boost present or I went wide-open throttle. Like Jack mentioned, I bought an Evo and I haven't touched the Talon since (no time or money).

Now that you are here Jamie, do you know if they still make that Y pipe set-up?

Yeah they do, ATP Turbo sells one but its still out of stock (has been for EVER). QuickTime Performance sells the most common version. With this, you can retain the stock muffler look to keep the sleeper look, pass emissions, and to keep the cops off your ass for having too loud of an exhaust (got an $85 ticket in the evo this month for that). Be sure to put the bypass BEFORE your catalytic converter.
The QTP comes with a manual on/off switch but you can install a 3 psi boost switch to activate it. Or set it up with a switch connected to the throttle body which turns it on when you hit WOT (just like some NOS kits use).
