Turbo choise & bearing type's

ok so i'm on the market for a new turbo in the range of a 50-54 trim have my eyes on the PTE SCM32 & GT32E and realized, i have no clue the differances between bearing's so now i'm asking. sleeve bearing's 360 thrust bearing's 270 thrust and ball bearing's and also i know these are housing's but what are the differance's between the TO4B and TO4E .

if you have any suggestion's on dif. turbo's rather than precision speak youre mind, i had a PTE 50 trim that i blew the seal's on for some unknown reason and idk if it was me or the turbo, i like to think it was me but i never beat on the turbo at all and then it just took a **** on me one day........

Garret has a great info page on their website.

Basically MHI's use higher oil pressure than ballbearings can stand (and a lot of others really like, especially if BSE'd), so you need to head feed (less pressure) with a filter (no filtering up there) and a restrictor to further drop oil pressure inthat application. Honestly for anything OTHER than an MHI, I would head feed with a filter, but restrictor use will depend on what the oil pressure recommendations are for the turbo in question.
