turbo upgrade (Downgrade) *Wastegate's

so the HX-35 is going, i was thinking SCM32 but i want some opinion's on wastegate's relaly more than turbo's as you all know i currantly run a tial 38mm external but i want to go internal. a PTE SCM32 (54 trim) w/ a say 34mm flapper, think i would see much creep or what? i'm looking to make a solid 400 again, i have given up on reaching for 500 and drag car and this and that, it's going back to daily status. if you are going to say no to my idea's or something please use some info to back it up and a better idea to go with it.

EDIT: or should i just stay external? i just hate the fact of how mine is mounted, i am looking to upgrade the manifold right now so im rushing to decide if i want internal or external so i can get it nicely done not my ****** rigging ****.

I use a pte turbo with internal gate, to4e with no creep. I have the scm61 though. I don't find the need for an external so far their internal works great for me. Just fyi I got the high pressure internal wastegate.

Well when I bought the turbo they offered me a high pressure "upgraded" wastegate. Pte offer's low and high that's all I meant.

It's been a while I ordered from extreme I would never order from sbr again, good luck with that. Anyways just call precision up I don't remember if it already comes with the turbo or if it was an option I don't see it on extremepsi site or pte's. I just remember it's the "high pressure" gate.

personally i like slowboy, sometimes they split my orders up into multiple shipments and what not but their generally good. i got a responce in like 30 mins right now asking bout the wastegate's

I wrote:

how big are the flapper's on these? ( Precision SCM-3231E (54 Trim) Turbo )and how are they in reference to boost creep? what kind of pressure is the spring in the actuator meant to hold? if it is no good is it possible you could sell one w/ the wastegate port welded shut or just without a wastegate being as i already have a external gate but would like to go back to internal if possable.

they wrote:

Nice turbo even with internal gate, they can cut the turbine housing to make it a dvided housing post turbine wheel to help keep creep down, this seems to work very well. Flapper size is about 34 mm.

They have low and high pressure actuator, 11 or 17 PSI.

We can usually ship this turbo within 48 hours of order.

Sales

Slowboy Racing, Inc.

back honostly though i think i'm leaning towards external and buy one of their manifold's aswell because i hate my ****.

Why do you want internal? If I had an external I wouldn't even think aobut giving it up? Unless your going to sell it to help buy the turbo or something.

i may change my mind when i get a new manifold but as of right now i hate it because i can't put my radiator in and yeah that's about it. it's a lil obvious that i'm built too when i hit boost and the wastegate is screaming rape.
