Voodoo Mbc

I just bought a VOODOO MBC and was wondering if I take the stock boost controler out and put the voodoo in its place

sure??

if the car is still running the T-2Small turbo then you shouln't have it set anything higher than about 15psi max.

Stock boost controller? Stock boost is regulated via the wastegate, your MBC will essentially "trick" your wastegate into opening at a higher PSI. If you have a MBC already installed, the only reason to change it would be if its junk or not functioning properly...

Make sure you have a boost gauge installed so you can monitor boost levels when turning up the boost; t-25 doesnt make much (additional) power past 15psi and just starts blowing hot air.

I didnt know what that piece was called that has the wires that go in to it. You know the one that if you take the little plastic tube out you will increase boost another pound or two. I asumed that was the boost controler

no.

Leave the boost control solenoid (factory boost controller aka BCS) alone.

DIsconnect the hose from the BCS to the T, and from the t to the wastegate and teh pressure source. Disconnect the line that goes to the intake snorkel and cap the snorkel off.

Mount the voodoo somewhere close and convenient.
Ziptied to the back of the fan works.

Now with new hose (3mm i think it is, 3.5 MIGHT be ok), run a line from the pressure source nipple to the bottom of the voodoo, and a new line from the side of the voodoo to the wastegate actuator.

Like this but without t'ing off the BOV line. Just use the pressure source nipple.
