I am running with the so called "Ebay" turbo. It is a T3/T4 57trim and I got full boost at 11psi at 3300rpm - 3500rpm. I have been using it for 2 weeks now and the turbo spools good. I bought it from drift-pros, the ebay seller.
Turbos from ebay are glued together ? ..... Not at all. It was a very long time ago when they tried to make something to work. I actually took the turbo apart and compare it with my Garrett 60trim and the housing are pretty much at the same quality. The compressor housing is not as smooth as Garrett but it is ok. The only big different between Ebay turbo and Garrett turbo is the compressor wheel. The ebay one is very rough and looks weak while the Garrett is very sharp.

So don't say that turbos on ebay are glued together. It is history.

There is a company on E bay thats selling the Garrett T-28 cartridge. Will this work on any T28, or do you have to have a garrett. Also will any rebuild kit work on my turbo, or will I have to get the rebuild kit from the company I bought it from?

How would I know ebay turbo works ? Because I used to run with a Garrett 60trim before I install the Ebay 57trim. I did not open the turbo core but the ebay turbo is working good for me at least for now.
Yes, they are made of cheap meterial that will shorten the life of the turbo. BUT how long do you expect a turbo to last ? 10 years ?..... If the ebay turbo just last for 2 years, it worths for $200.

I have still yet to physically SEE a turbo installed on your car Phalanx.. Let alone see reviews, tips.. really anything. Maybe its because I attempt not to open these threads of yours anymore... But any actual proof that youre running a turbo'd 4g64? Or dsmlink on your car.... Or do you just have all of the parts?

You are so silly. "I blow up ebay turbo after only 2 years of low boost, so I buy another one" "I buy cheap clone parts from ebay so I can replace them every year and only be able to run low boost. It's cheaper."

You could have just spent the same amount as two ebay piles and bought a good turbo for $600 that would last you for many many years. Yo could have bought a decent BOV and not had to replace the e-Gay garbage all the time.

As far as being an ebay newbie.... i dunno, I made my first purchase around 1999, before I had my DSM...
