Hi I'm gonna be getting an external wastegate welded to my stack Turbo manifold. My question is, I have TWO holes on the wastgate, one on the top and one on the side. Witch one is for the boost controller and what is the other one for.

depends on if you have an MBC or an EBC....per my install instructions, the top line goes to a vacuum source after the turbo, and the mid port tee's off the line that goes to your turbo from the boost controller.

So, my HKS EVC IV EBC is setup like this:

3 ports

1st port goes to a vacuum source before the intake manifold, I tee'd it to the BOV line.

2nd port feeds to the turbo, I tee'd that line to the mid port on the WG.

3rd port feeds to the top port of the WG

Some BC's only come with 2 ports, in which case the top port would be left open.

In my tial directions it says to hook the middle one up to a boost source and the top one let vent.

I only have 2 ports so I will leave the top port open and feed the side port to my Apexi AVCR. Does this sound right. Thank you.

yes but that line needs to also tee to the turbo

Couldnt you run a line from the turbo to the AVCR and then from the AVCR to the WG. I have no clue what the AVCR looks like but im assuming its like a normal boost controller or solinoid.
