ok wait till you hear this ****!!! we just spent 4 hours messing with this piece. OK when I took the t oiff and hooked the mbc directly from the wastegate it severely overboosted (23 psi!!) so i guess mine is not a t-25!!! well anyway we hooked it up everyway possible now that isn't the good part the only way that I hit a solid even one pound gain which was 14-15 was hook the damn thing in backwards and take the bolt completly off!!!!! and the boost controller won't let it go above 14,so I don't know if I have a bad spring or what!!!! I had this problem when I tried to put a aftermarket bov my car just went crazy. I wish this car was as easy as the 3000gt we put all kinds of **** on his car and never one single problem!!!!

what do you mean you hooked it from the wastegate?
http://www.belitski.com/cars/talonmo...aqhallman.html
ignore the part about t'ing into the BOV line, you don't want to do that on a t28.

Turbo boost nipple on the compressor
(see left hand turbo)

to
Voodoo MBC inlet (that's oppposite the screw adjuster!!!)

MBC outlet (90 degrees to screw) to wastegate port.

It doesn't take much to increase boost from 8 to 16 psi

You have teh MBC with the screw turned counterclockwise as far as you can? you try applying pressurized air to the MBC to make sure it is good and to get close on boost level before installing in the car?

Crappy sketch:

ok I am going to show that to him tonight and see if thats how we have it.thanks a ton for the sketch!!!!!!!! Also he siad he called his place he gets all his info from and he said the 2g eclipse has a electronic syloniod that stops the car from over boosting. he said there is a wire that goes to it he said to disconnect that so the manuel one can work? but was that the ebc line you were talking about to not disconnect or is that different?

yes, you leave the solenoid connected electrically, but you do NOT use it vacuum hose wise.

And it is not there to stop the car from overboosting, but rather to reduce boost by 1-2 psi if there is a problem elsewhere, like excessive knock.

Way to go and have a debate without resorting to insults and such. Very admirable!
