Help!!! 18x8.5 rims and 215 35 18 Rims???

I recently ordered these for my 1998 gs eclipse. Can someone please tell me if :
First of all if 18x8.5 rims will fit on the clipse at all with out modifications.
Second will these tires be appropriate for the rims at all.
Please help me out guys, I'm a complete novice that got in to deep. Peace

Relax man, "you re not in too deep"...A few people in here have 18s on their eclipse.

if your dropped more than 1 inch you will need to roll your rear fenders if you plan on running your car with the correct camber...if you arent dropped, you're fine
