Oil leak

The other day I saw a spot of oil in my parking spot. So I opened the hood and there was oil in the area right underneath the beg. of my cai. So I cleaned it all off and checked the oil, which it was low. So i put some more in. Now its been two days since I've checked the oil again or opened the hood. So today I finally did, the oil was fine, and there was no sign of a leak. I don't know where it could be leaking from. Exuse my lack of details of where the oil was. But it was all over the right side of the engine block.

There is no defintive proof that it was coming from your car. Watch for more leakage, and jack it up, and inspect the under carriage for oil. If it is indeed leaking than I'd be thinking main seal.

Do you have an aftermarket CAI or is it stock?? Main reason why I ask is because if you have an aftermarket CAI and dont have catch can or air breather on your valve cover you will have oil come out from that nipple on the valve cover.

Other possibilities could be Valve cover gasket could have a tear on the right side, spark plug gaskets could be blown and oil coming up out of the wells.
Worse thing could be a blown head gasket on the Cylinder 4 side which is common with 420A's.

Suggestion: Clean up all the oil in the bay and start with the catch can first and always check your oil levels and work from there.

Yeh I do have an aftermarket CAI, from AEM. I'll have to check that out. I also have cleaned up all the oil and have not noticed any new leakage after 3 days of driving.

I'd pressure wash the bottom of the engine, and then check it in a few days before I made and rash decisions.
