howto use engine stand?

ok so i have a engine hanging on my cherry picker but have no clue how to use the engine stand i have, could someone shoot me some pic's as to where the engine stang goes onto the engine and what not? i'm lost and yeah...

cmon, nobody know's howto use an engine stand? if i dont get advice soon i may end up hanging the block from the ceiling w/ ratcheting strap's in some kinf of an amazing invention like i usually do.or ill get some long bolts and idk, HELP!@

what kind of stand? Mine bolted right into the side of my block when i was in shop class in HS. im sure you could google the brand and whatnot, and the site will tell you.

so i need bolt's to go through the engine stand into the block where the tranny bolted up, i've got it. thanx. now i gotta find bolts.

I believe the ones from the tranny work, so just pull one and take it to a hardware store and buy 3 more like it.

this is off topic but how many dowel pins am i supposed to have between the engine and tranny? i see one but i think there's supposed to be a few more.... lol could i use same ones used between block and head?
