Clutch Leak...

Hi, well about 2 months ago I had a slave cylinder leak so I took it to the dealer and they replace it but the main problem is still there (I have trouble shifting), the clutch still does like a shriek when I depress it, I don't know if they bleed the system, so I was wondering what else can I do? do I bleed it(how to do it?)? Shoud I check the transmission fluid? I really appreciate any help, thanks.

Look on the inside of the firewall where the master is. 9 out of 10 once the slave starts leaking the master isn't too far behind.

www.JNZtuning.com If you have a leak go ahead and order one, (they are less expensive than autozone too) because it does take about a week for them to get it and get it to you.

Then go get a 10 mm line wrench, a deepwell 12, standard 12, flex head socket driver, and a standard socket driver with short extension, and do it your self.

The slave is the easiest one to do, i must admit. Took me 20 minutes for the slave and about an hour to do the master.

Also double check for leaks at the slave while the engine is hot and a friend pushes the pedal, and wiggle the reservoir hose to make sure your master has fluid and any air comes out of it.

I ended up replacing the master AND having to add an RRE SS line to replace the factory line that was leaking.

also tread the RRe article about setting the pedal.

Well from personal experiance when the slave cylinder goes out and is replaced your master cylinder will soon follw by breaking. Because with the new slave it puts more wear and tear on the older master cylinder and thats all she wrote. So just get a Master put in to, and Bleed it.
