1995 Eclipse Rs

i have a 95 eclipse rs..and i wanted to change my tires..well the idiot before me had put on 14" rims and these huge beefy tires...its time for a change...i cant seem to find any info on what the stock wheel size is for my car..i think i know that they originally have 15" wheels..but im not sure...i want to go back to the 15" s but i dont want to do that unless im sure on the size. please help...

I don't know if the stock tire size is diff on the 96 and 97 but mine is a 98 and it came with some dingy looking 14" aluminums. I believe the stock tire size is 195/70/14. I don't know if the 95 has the same stock wheels as the 98 RS. Check it out on tirerack.com. It should tell you everything you need.

Actually it was 205/60/16, or 215/60/16... I don't think they had wider tires than the GSX, same for the GST

And AWD (2gb+)
215/55/17.

most common size used aftermarket in 16 is the one Phalanx mentioned, and teh most common size for 17's is the 225/45/17... though 235/45/17 is actually the correct diameter.
