Did an axle mod to my GS-T.....
A few weeks ago, I was reading on some mods that can be done to a GS-T suspension wise that arent too costly. I came across a mod that would replace the GS-T front axle with a GSX front axle, and the outcome would be about 40-50% less torque steer, and a harder pull in 2-3 gear due to a beefier axle. So last Saturday, I went to my mechanic and asked him if he could do it, he said yes, but wasnt sure if anything would need to be modified because it is a little bigger. Well, he made it fit, and I took it for a test drive and oh yes, it pulls way better in 2-3 gear, so much that I partially broke my firewall motor mount......so now I'm going to Road Race after work to get the prothane motor mounts..... :twisted: thats right bitches, TEH AUTO is breaking motor mounts....the killer mates SO well with the power band, cant wait for the rest of the tranny to get done.
