Clunk in front left

When I am driving my car in the rain or in wet conditions, I hear a clunk in the front DS susp. when braking. Never when it's dry and I don't notice any handling difference. Just a sound? Any ideas?

springs and stuts are usally not effected by rain. I would think it would be the brakes themselves. When was your last brake job. It prob is not your rotors(warped rotors) when you brake you would always feel a bumpy push on the pedal. So that leaves us with the calipers and the pads themselves. It could very well be the pads, worn down pads can lead to metal on metal contact and that would be the problem. Also the caliper could be stuck when it closes and messes up. I am drinking a little bit right now and not thinking tooo cleary. But i will say this is not a suspension problem and it is brake related. SInce it happens only in rain i will not say it is the brake master nor fluid or lines. It is the caliper or the pad itself.

i have a clunk right now when I brake as well, however, mine has nothing to do with my suspension. I broke my front motor mount, and so now when I brake or slowly accelerate, I hear a clunk. Check your motor mounts.

something about it only being during the rain makes me think its strictly brake related.

Is it like a constant sound or does it just happen when once as your braking. Does it grind at all?

I would guess that is something along these lines.
