Need Help

My suspension is going bye-bye fast on me. Dumb previous owner slammed it down three inches. So I need help as this is my first DSM as to what type of struts and springs I should buy. Whats on it now are some KYB struts and Eibach three inch lowering springs. I'm looking for a kit hopefully that will only lower the car an inch and a half from stock ride height max I would much rather get a good kit that will only lower it an inch from stock. Thanks

Your best bet is to get H&R OE Sports. They'll only drop you an inch. I haven't come across a lowering spring that will lower you any less than these. If you want that mild of a drop, we'll enter the discussion of coilovers.

For shocks, search on Koni Sports or Tokico Illuminas.

What do you mean mild? I would much rather only have the one inch drop compared to what I'm rolling on now this suspension scares the crap outta me all the time. Because of it I somehow blew a little hole in my lower radiator hose just the other day.

Oh and thanks for the info too much obliged

By mild, I meant less than an inch.

Oh gotcha. Sorry if I sounded fussy with that last post. But yeah I'm looking for a drop anywhere between an inch to an inch and a half those numbers make me happy, especially since I won't have to worry so much about the possible tire scraping against my fender cause I am cuttin her close just barely clears it.

Get adjustable coil overs, so you can determine exactly the ride height that you desire!

I do agree with getting adjustible coil-overs, that way you can set your ride hight, and then get an alignment, and call it good!

Eibach prokit is a cheap route, they aren't great BUT they will only drop your car about 1"-1 1/2"

So what do you guys think about Skunk2 Racing coil-overs? I found a set for my car but I am unsure of getting them for my car, I know that they are a good brand to get for Civics but not sure for a Talon. Only asking cause like I said in my intoduction post I am a noob to the DSM world and I do have some questions regarding certain things. Thanks for the info to about everything so far its been alot of help.
