1996 mitsubishi eclipse gsx

stock suspension for gsx?

hey im a noob, dont know much bout these cars yet, i just got my 96 gsx a few weeks ago, it has some really sorry coilovers on it, and i wanna put a stock suspension back on it, my question is do i need 2 find another gsx or will any 95-99 eclipse struts and shocks work? i thought with the AWD maybe it was different. idk. i tried searching with no luck... thx

The fronts are the same, but the rears are different. You need to find another GSX. Check the Junkyard, or your local parts shop (Autozone, advance Auto, Pep Boys, etc...) If all esle fails resort to the dealership.

I believe the spring rates are also different, so it would be better if you could find springs for the gsx.

o ok, i really appreciate it, would a 95-98 talon tsi work, or does have 2 be an eclipse? in case i cant find a gsx.

The Talon TSI AWD would be the same, but a regular TSI wouldn't be an exact match.

You can use the front struts off any 95-99 eclipse/talon but the rears on the gsx are stiffer so that's where you'll have to go with either gsx or talon tsi struts.
