Question about suspension? - Team-2G Mitsubishi Forum

I was reading the very top thread and was completely baffled as to what kind of suspension I have on my '96 GS-T. I just got her last week and I tried searching for this but couldn't figure out how to word it without getting every thread possble. Hah.

I bought a GS-T that was been lowered (I think almost 2 inches), and I was just wondering if anyone knew of a way I could figure out what kind of suspension I have (brand) or anything like that?

If there isn't a way -- I am taking her to a mechanic as soon as I get my other car from getting her tranny fixed. I am going to get that guy to list everything that has been put into that car (brand names & whatnot). He should be able to tell me, hopefully.

Take it apart, look for brand names - report back with your findings.

My Uncle got the car in an auction. He just buys and sells used "junk" cars as he likes to call it. He doesn't know much about these cars -- at all. I am going to have a friend of mine help me out with fixing this car up. She just needs a lot of tlc. I am hoping to get her up on a lift here in the next week or so, to look up underneath her. Thanks for the advice. I know the person you buy it from should know more about it -- haha, but he didn't.
