Tire issues

Hey guys first time poster here, really love the site great info and characters! Quick question I have had my eclipse for going on 6 years and no matter how I take care of my tires the rears set (especially it seems the back left) wears extremely fast. I have alignments done be reputtable shops done every 5-7,000 miles have replaced rear suspension, changed tire and wheel setup and checked and rechecked the camber etc of the rear wheels to no avail. Is this something typical of eclipse of my year (1995 rs) or do any of the gurus around here have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

How many miles are you clocking before you need new tires? Are you lowered at all? Has your car ever been in an accident?

No accidents, not lowered at all, as far as miles I am not exactly sure but around 10,000 miles sounds about right.

You consider 10,000 miles "extremely fast wear"?

Thats a bit to much for wear....did you check to see if your suspension in that area is bottoming out as you drive.

Well I am a poor college student and I meant that I am forced to change them around then because it shakes to much to drive (I should change them far earlier than I do). They are 17in lowpro's same over ratio as the stocks. And 10,000 miles is prob to much I was estimating, but a large part of the problem is the uneven wear. Thanks!

Just my guess, if you have unever wear, then you have an alignment issue, camber, caster, and or toe in or out... Your car shouldnt shake if its aligned properly

The question is HOW the uneven wear is happening. Is it wearing only on the inside of the tire? only the outer edges? Only the center of the tire? Are there patches that are worn and some that aren't? The tire tells you where the problem is.....just tell us or better yet, take a picture of the wear and I'm sure we all can help you track down the problem real fast
