I think we should have a positive / negative rep system.

If somebody helps you, you leave a positive..

If somebody gives you smart A** answer you leave a negitive.

I think that would give the people on the forum a little better attitude and stop being so snide.

I've already looked into this. The big problem is that this is how favorites are established. If someone doesn't like you, you get negative rep. If a few people don't like you, then you have piss poor reputation that you probably won't be able to recover from. If we had it, it would be abused. There's no point. I'm thinking about setting up a member of the month in hopes that you guys would want to better yourselves in hopes of being nominated.

Maybe it could be set up so it would have to be approved by a moderator before the rep is applied.

Maybe a positive rep system then, to promote being more friendly.

This seems to be a small enough community to allow people to quickly figure out who is an asshat and who is worth listening to.

I'd hate to see a bunch of idiots with a high reputation because they are "nice".

If there was a rep system, it would have to be ran by the mods.
