Dude, I feel for you Bro. That is some bullshit. Here the bottom line -
- Slowboy is creating some custom parts for our cars so we cant knock on them too hard.
-Slowboy is a good company- But have shitty customer service/shipping dept. So you will need to keep calling them to make sure your order is shipped correctly.
-Shopping with Slowboy can be a good experience or a bad one. Which in Return means that they cannot be 100% trusted . So it is up to you to decide if you would like to still shop with them.
Those are just my opinions. A little Feedback from myself - I have had good and bad experiences with them, And have ordered from them again just last week for a set of BPR7ES plugs, and a AFC 2 Vent Holder. So I will keep everyone posted on that. As for me, I will still shop with them. Not sure if I would Get a motor from them though. Scary for me if things don't go right since I dont live close to them. I bought a rebuilt motor from a Company out of California before. They where backed by the BBB and others as a good company. When I got my motor back from them. The car would not run correctly and no joke broke down after 20 minutes of start up. When i broke down on the freeway the car was only going 50 mph. I popped the hood, my turbo was Glowing Bright RED . Got a tow truck to come down and pick up my ride which cost me more $$$ I didn't have. Got home and took the Valvecover off, And BAM !!!! What do you know... Almost all my lifters where broke. I was like WTF ? So I took it to a shop where I used to work at (JDG Motorsports) , Tore the motor down to find out that it was reassembled with almost all used parts. I was Pissed....

and ready to duke it out with them. To make a long story short. My Car was down for a yr. Finally got them to send me new parts, 8 months later...
I Was out like $ 5200 cash for all the extra charges in between to Tear down the motor/ Shipping cost / Etc.
I paid them $3400 for the motor with ARP's , etc. And next thing you know I am out a total of $5200 and a broke motor...LOL.. It Gets worse, I loose my Job because I have no way to get to work, Since this was my Daily Driver. Dude, a word of advice for everyone. If you have a Daily Driver Car, Don't order a engine from a company you trust until you do lots of research (which i did). Make sure the are local or you may be screwed like I did. Check for reviews of what others have experienced when buying a motor from them as well.
