Agree with Greengoblin. Turbos work at its best when they are at a certain boost level. Each turbo has its strong point and also its weack spot.

Like said previously, I notice the turbo worked best around 27-30psi.

Just do a couple of runs with c-16, crack the boost up a bit and you see the difference.

I just read that you are on stock head studs. I'd keep the boost at 22psi max.

I wasnt planning on it.

I have heard from certain people that stock head studs are good up to 25psi?

That is why I said 22. 25 works for some but not for others. Even at 22 you need to have a clean tune. IMO

My firnd Tom was running 30psi on his stock 7 bolt on a turbonetics 60 trim. The rod let go before the head studs streched. That was on a concertive tune and race gas. 0 knock. On the street would be 27 but mainly 30 psi. We have race gas on the pump at a local station.

Where did you get the Turbo?
And can you have it be where the wastegate is on the o2 housing.

Northend, i got it at maperformance, dont order it from the turbo trader, they are super sketchy. It comes set up for a wastegate on 02 housing but i just welded the hole shut so i can run it off the manifold.
