Haha, thanks!

And Wing ill let you know what happens when i get her tuned up and what not. Im getting on the dyno on the 22nd if nothing breaks.
I wish i could go to the track but the track is closed for the winter, due to the non stop rain.

The car feels much more adult like. With the 16g i was spooling up and blowing off like everyshift and now i can actually drive without blowing off, its a nice change.

When do you hit full boost? What kind of boost are you even running right now?

I did say get an exhaust manifold flange. That would have avoided you from smashing your water pipe so much. I had to learn that the hard way. I also had to go with a Mishimoto Radiator and a set of Fal Fans. After that I was all good with my temperatures.

dear god that thing is huge. im sure you will love it tho. i know on the 3g's theres a wire to the fans you can cut that will make them stay on all the time.. idk if thats the same for the 2g's. just a thought.

I doubt you will stop at 18psi. No one ever does. Looks like a great build sir!

Yeah, boost is addicting. Plus, at 18psi you are verly scratching the potential of that turbo. Its sweet spot is around 25 psi. Have fun with though non the less.

Man you guys are getting me all excited to turn the boost up!

Sleek 2g, for some odd reason today my coolant temperatures went back down to normanl and today was a warmer day.

I might have to get boost happy because my long time smoke problem i believe has been solved by swapping in the new turbo.

I guess the 16g had a bad oil seal too.

I know with my fp3065 I made ok power at 18psi but nothing to really brag about. It was actually not to much better than a 16g but it had a tad more lag. Now when I turned the boost up to 32psi it was a whole different beast. If you are gong to put a big turbo on the car you need to run it where it makes the best power. IMO

The problem with that is I am a pussy and i dont want anything to break :)

When i get on the dyno though i will be trying to squeze everything i can out of it. Im not sure yet if im going to run pump or race gas on the dyno.

Do your self a favor and run race fuel. It will be much safer if you decided to start cranking up the boost. I run E85. Being able run 32psi with 20 degrees of timing on the street at all times was a wonderful thing.
