Good Place to buy 420a parts.

Am in the middle of building two motors. And I need a good place to buy some high compression pistons and some mild cams at. The cheapest I've seen so far are wiseco's for 450 at slowboy. The only cams I've found for our motor are from crane cams. Nobody else seems to carry any when I talk to them.
I'm looking for something thats .020 over and at least a 10.5:1 CR.
As far as cams go, looking for something that is a noticeable difference over stock but nothing too extreme to where I'd need to be making alot of upgrades in the head. All help is appreciated.

Ci motorsports has shitty shipping and customer service... they have alot of items for our car, but they have shitty service... also check out howellautomotive.com

I have bought alot from howell and I cant decide if they are good or bad... I have recieved everything i have ever ordered there, just some things took quite some time...

I got a engine from them without any problems. All you need to do is talk to Shawn and he will get you your stuff out. The best time to call is around 6pm. They just get really busy.

Wow I just ordered a but load of crap from ci, I hope they dont suck to bad. The only reason i didnt go with howell is because they said their shipping takes 1-4 or 4-8 weeks for what I wanted, that is just retarded but at least they were up front.

+1 on the slow shipping and shitty service... ive ordered from them a few time and every time they were really slow... my first order was just for ARP exhaust studs.. and they took almost 2 months to get to me... i just ordered most of my parts for the rebuild a month and a half ago and just got them two days ago.. they have a good selection of parts for the 420a... i also found that Crower makes cams for our engines but they are a little pricey... check Nopi online for more on the cams and other parts but they are expensive too..... good luck

Damn why does everyone take forever on shipping?? like every place that sells parts for our cars takes an ungodly long time... but maybe since I ordered a but load of stuff I might get lucky.

JOE check your PM.. Just a head up guys, 420a parts are getting hard to come by these days. There are alot of companies right now having production troubles, basically cant keep up with manufacturing, shipping etc, and of course this reflects on our shipping times. My suggestion is to check availability on part before orders are placed to avoid this problem. This would be why Howell advertizes the 1-4 or 4-8 week shipping frames on certain lines. And of course we dont take 8 months to ship parts. We would issue a refund before it got to that point.

And btw this is Shawn, if anyone needs help just PM me, or send me an im on AOL , screen name cimotorsports
