You would have to get a 2.4l block, and crank ..

but if you want to spend that much money .. Go for it.

There's no replacement for displacement.

depends what u want it for u'll get more torque outta the stroker but u dont rev as high most ur power will be mid ranged- good for street, auto cross. read this for ur options.....there is always the long rod option u get the displacement and keep the revs

I don't think he needs a 2.1 destroker. Not very many of us have a need for it.

The way i was thinking of it was, i gotta go forged so thats what 800ish anyways? well why not gain almost 25% more displacement over stock for say 1100 from slowboy.... i havent made my decision yet but i got a few more months to go.

Just an FYI 2.3L is the stroker and the 2.4L is just a 2.4L. Cost of build up for each is about the same. The pistons and rods that you are going to need to get are the same price. All thats different is that you will need to buy a block and crank. I picked one up for $75 at a local junk yard. Plus the 2.4 will give you better low end torque. Im going with the 2.4 because its just better.

The 2.4L block and crack is going to cost you more than $75 unless you're extrememly lucky.

I rev to 8k on my 2.3L....... High rev's puts a hell of a lot of stress on the tranny and the entire driveline.
