New Video!!!

So on the way home from work me and the money sucker were just cruisein along when i noticed i was running extra hot.

So i stoped at the nearest gas station and poped the hood.

Smoke was everywhere along with a hissing noise, fun!

I noticed i had no coolant what so ever, so insted of filling it up with coolant i just put water in it from the hose on the back of the gas station. FREE!!! lol.

Once i got home it was makein the noise again and smoke again. I was also running a bit hot just not as hot. I then noticed i was completely empty on the water again. WTF!

I figured i just had a leak, but it was about midnight and too tired to mess with it. This morning how ever i took some things off the engine to check everything out and i cranked it up. engine was running fine i refilled the coolant with water again and it seemed to be doing fine, i raised the idle on it and held it there to see the engine reactions and it was doing the normal and i went and looked at the temp gauge and i was about 3/4th the way to the H* so it was still runnin hot.

I then noticed this...

Low and behold i went to the front and the coolant was empty yet again.

As for what everyone is telling me, white smoke comming from the exaust while idleing or driving is a blow head gasket or cracked head or what not.

Any information before i apply for a personal loan to get everything fixed at once. ie, rear sway bar, timing, and apparently now the head.

Any input would be welcomed lol.

Sounds like headgasket to me...

If you've already checked the radiator hoses for leaks and all the other coolant lines, and you are still loosing coolant, yet white smoke (water) is coming out the back, what else could it be besides headgasket?

Easy way to tell bro is take out your plugs and see if they are wet and look down into the cylinder with a small flashlight see if you see anything. If so then yeah it prolly is your headgasket. BTW I have a brand new one still in the wrapper that I never used cause I ordered a cometic head gasket, PM me if you want it.

Yea so i figured.

I will check the plugs in a sec, got to run some clothes through the wash and then i will go check.

I didnt check the hoses fully, i checked them the first day that it happened with a friend and we didnt see any fresh water or anything, like we didnt see anything that looked to be like a leak.

Then again it was dark we were usin porch lights to give us light, not much you can do after i got off work.

Is there any noticable difference in the head gasket you have and the cometic head gasket?

Cometic is made to withstand higher boost than the stock MLS head gasket for the 420A. Since your not running a turbo you dont need a cometic.

Do that as well but look in the cylinders first to see if there is water, you dont want to do a compression test first and blow all the water out of the cylinders.

You can buy a Coolant pressure test kit (autozone or sears??) and put coolant in the radiator and then pressure test it. If there is a leak you will see it leaking water. But thats about all you can do with water leaking out that fast. It can only be an external leak or its leaking into the cylinders somehow. Good luck let us know how it goes and cross your fingers for a leaking hose.

okay sounds good, sadly i have to work today so everything wont get pressure tested till tomorrow.

i will check the spark plugs today though and let ya know how that goes.

thanks for the help in information.

if it is the head, i will let you know and i will most likely be willing to work something out for the one you have if you want to sell it.

untill then i will just hope for the best.

thanks again

sorry forgot to update the other day.

i pulled the plugs and they were bone dry.

i still havnt done the compression test yet because the one at autozone that you can rent is mia. they are waiting for it to be returned.

but as of lately i have still been driving it and it isnt smokeing anymore and its holding coolant.

here in a little while we are going to drain the radiator and run some blue devil gasket sealer in it just to be safe.

also, i believe i have found why my car has been sounding like it was off a tooth on the timing. i was takeing parts off the engine and i found a small hose that came off the back of the intake manifold and ran to the front of the engine that was supposed to be connected to a part that said VAC on it.

i connected the two and i have been idleing just fine now. i also noticed i no longer had the high top end and low bottom end, i am now well rounded.

so im guessing that was the problem.

i will update tonight the end result of the blue devil, it supposed to take like an hour of idle time to set in, and then drive it a day, then replace with coolant.

i will find out if it will work or not.
