have no idea

i just put in a new 150 amp alternator and a new battery when i start the car the battery light comes on in about 2 mins and also i idle at like 2.5 -3000 when im driving and 2 when im not moving. any ideas?

You could check the wire going from the alternator 2 the fusible link. Check the fusible link. Check connection or anything. Mine was doing that and finally it just started dying because the wire from my alternator to my fusible link was fraid and the fuse blew, so I had to rewire it.
Check all of that and let us know.

where do i find the fusible link? is it next to the battery?

Here is what was wrong with mine, this happened right after I put in a new alternator and battery. It could be your problem but, maybe not.
