Spindle Nut Q!!

Alright so im changing out my clutch and in order to get the spindle nut off i had to cold chisel it off, so i need another one. But none of the auto stores around here carry one. But i found a junk yard that has four 1gs eclipses. Will the spindle nut off of the 1g fit my 2g eclipse?

Im not sure if the one off of a 1g will fit but its usually better to get a new one. could the auto stores order one? Have you tried the Dealer? Usually the spindle nuts are verry cheap even from the dealer.

No. All the stores said they can only sell the the whole half shaft with the nut on it. But not just the nut. Which is ridiculous. Ya, and I haven't tried the dealer yet cuz they are always so expensive, but I guess that is my only option.

Dealer price wasn't that bad if I remember right. The axle I bought didn't come with on and I had torched off the old one.

alright things just got worse. I took a closer look at the end of the axle where the nut was and the hole for the pin is no longer there. and it is completely rusted(reason why i had to chisel the nut off). also the threads are out of line so i don't think a new nut would even fit on it anymore.
i checked an autozone and they have the whole axle with the nut included for 60 bucks. And i have points on their card so i get 20 bucks off. So im probably just going to get the new one. Good idea????
