i went to the auto parts store to get a pcv valve and they gave me this?

this doesnt look like all the others online?

First it would help to know what kind of car you have. Also, those look like the "crank vents" that are usually around $60-70 a set. They work like PCV valves, but better and are generally used inline instead of replacing an actual PCV valve.

Do you know what part number he gave you for the orignal one? I am interested to see what kind of car uses these. Also, how much was it?

i cant remember i threw away the packaging but it was only $3 for the correct model for my car it was purolator brand... cheap and works
