FMIC Install and overheating

I have installed a greddy 18r core fmic and am having an overheating problem. When I am just cruising below 60 it does not overheat. If i get on it or even slightly accelerate my temps go up slowly but surely. i can cruise at 80 or below with my fans on and it will only slightly move it's way over where the stock temp gauge would normally sit, but still if i accelerate on it hard it heats up of course. I am getting ready to flush the radiator and install a 170* thermostat and add water wetter to my coolant as well. Does anyone have any other suggestions. Also I am going to install a fluidyne radiator if flushing mine does not help.

Water Wetter and a Lower Temp Thermostat. If that doesn't fix it, get an aluminum radiator.

You pretty much answered your own question.

It might help a little to get a higher psi radiator cap as well (they are cheeeap)
