****ING vacuum leak!?!?!

WTF.

I've changed every vacuum line i could find, including all parts of the egr, and even the brake booster line.

Here is a vid showing my situtation. Vacuum is held fine, but then it like snaps back. Just watch.

Your vacuum should be right around 17-21Hg.

That is kind of weird that it switches over so fast. Do you know anyone with another boost gauge you could test out to see if the gauge is bad?

Almost a year later, I just thought that I'd update this thread incase someone was searching and trying to research probable vacuum leak causes, etc.

Turns out the autometer gauge's vacuum side was sticking and is inaccurate. Boost side was fine.

I installed an new gauge, and thats how I figured out. Vacuum is like 19inHG now.
