What does this button do... - Team-2G Mitsubishi Forum

I have a 98 rs and it has a black switch right below the cd player, in front of the stick and right of the cigarette lighter. It is able to flip both ways. On the left side it has 1 straight line, in the middle it's a circle, and on the right side is 2 straight lines. could anyone tell me what it's for. thanks

it's an aftermarket 3-way switch. just trace the wires from the back of the switch and see where they go.

The previous owner of your car probably had neons or something that ran with that switch.

All I keep picturing in my head is you flipping the switch on and off and your neighbors garage door slamming open and shut just like that commercial,lol.
