compression test results

Did a compression test today to make sure I can install my turbo. the cylinders 190, 190, 210, and 190 is this common to have one cylinder higher then the others? I know stock is supposed to be 175-210 and all should be within 25% of each other. "hypothetically speaking" I should be able to boost 6-8lbs posting these #'s on a stock engine?

Your numbers look fine, it should be able to handle boost just fine.

Yeah, you are in good shape. A higher compression in a cylinder can be from carbon buildup or from a coked piston head from oil deposits....among other little factors. Generally normal and nothing to be concerned with. Your #'s are exactly where you'd want them to be for turbo'ing your 420A

I'm also pretty confident in my memory that the acceptable range for the 420A was between 170-225psi actually (a much broader range than the 4G63)...I could be wrong, but I don't think so this time lol.
