Dropzone lowering springs, they were for my Spyder, so I believe they were the GSX version. 1.5 - 2inch drop. Bought these brand new, and never put them on the car, which I have since sold. Looking to get $75 plus shipping. Again, these are brand new, never installed.

Hey guys - No longer have the 2G, moved on to a Ralliart. I have a bunch of random stuff lieing around in the bedroom, so let me know if you're interested.

Taillights - No center piece, black/silver Euro tails. $50 plus shipping
Side markers - put black ones on my car, have these, perfectly good. $10 plus shipping.
Grey leather seats - Put racing seats in, so have these sitting around. Driver's side has slight wear from sliding in and out of the car. Pick up in Wisconsin. $150.
Window switch - OEM from dealership. Thought that was my issue, but it was the window motor. This is brand new, and I paid over $100 for it. Looking to get $75 plus shipping.

Let me know if you have any questions... email at Nicklus.Evans@gmail.com for fastest response.

(Help) power steering pump problem??

hey
i was having problems with my timing and power steering belts, (making alot of noise), so i had them changed a couple of days ago, but now when i turn the wheel all the way to one direction, the belt stops and cant really turn and makes alot of noise, but what i dont understand how is it that before i changed the belts there were no problems with the power steering , after i changed it , now all of a sudden its giving me problems with the pump. I also dont think it was the mechanic because it was my friend who did it right in front of me, and theres no leak, it used to have a leak but i used stop leak and its fine now.

Could it be that the belt is not adjusted properly ?

thanks

Hey guys, my 420a is throwing the P0443 code for the PCV valve circuit. I've learned a lot about my car over the past 5 years, but I've never encountered this problem. How do I go about fixing this because it's about that time I have to take it in for emissions.

On a side note. I recently replaced the PCV (this morning actually) and then the code changed to the P0443.

thanks in advance!

Custom Interior Project

Started a week ago. I try to spend an hour or so a day trying to get something done on the interior. I have never done a whole interior but I've been working for the last 2 month at my Father's shop and he has 29 years of experience to help teach me. 12 hour day 6 days a week for 2 months has got me really confident in my ability so I'll see what I can do.

Before was a boring cloth gray interior, and although not terrible, just wasn't up to par for me. So this will just be a log to track my progress.

Here is the car. Just your average 5 speed nonturbo 2g eclipse

Image: http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/hs118.ash2/39218_1579754813296_1218443868_1631453_6520013_n.jpg

I didn't take any before pictures, but you will see the progress nonetheless.

I started out by gutting the entire back hatch of all the plastic parts and really getting elbow grease in there...

Image: http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs248.snc4/39750_1579474326284_1218443868_1630534_2269987_n.jpg

I used Jute and Carpet on the inside plastic parts to help insulate and absorb any outside noise

Image: http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/hs126.ash2/39636_1588571833716_1218443868_1653573_2466929_n.jpg

I plan on adding a wooden floor with a hidden sub and have the back hatch cover in full leather.

I honestly don't like to have huge plastic peices so I decided on wrapping as much as I could in Black Ultra-Leather. An example would be the Hatch trim peices pictured below.

It was just a short time ago - five years, to be exact - that rallying was introduced as a competition in the X Games (http://www.autoblog.com/tag/XGames/). The first event started out in spectacular fashion, with Travis Pastrana beating out the late Colin McRae after the former World Rally Championship winner rolled his car with just a few turns to go.

Since then, the competition has become stronger and car manufacturers have increased their involvement as interest in the sport has increased thanks to ESPN's mainstream audience. This year looks to be one of the most exciting events yet with a host of new cars, new drivers, new rules and even a new event. Follow the jump to learn about what to expect for this year's X Games 16 and what it's like to ride shotgun in a 500-horsepower rally car.

There has always been a glaringly obvious gap in Mitsubishi (http://www.autoblog.com/make/mitsubishi/)'s current Lancer (http://www.autoblog.com/model/lancer) lineup. On the bottom is the... Lancer, a biggish-for-its-class economy car that no one particularly likes - at least that's what the sales charts would indicate. It's slow, filled with cheap plastics and dull. It hasn't even proven to be all that reliable by Japanese small-car standards, but at least it looks good. At the top of the heap and on a wholly different plane sits the Lancer Evolution (http://www.autoblog.com/model/lancer+evolution). It's the giant-slayer, David, the little car that humbles supercars. It's also the hottest of the rally-inspired all-wheel-drive turbocharged pocket rockets. The Evo's only real competition is the Subaru WRX STI (http://www.autoblog.com/model/wrx+sti) and, let's be honest, the Evo has been the better car for years now (Subaru has just updated its warrior for 2011 (http://www.autoblog.com/2010/07/19/2011-subaru-impreza-wrx-sti-first-drive-review-road-test/), so a new comparison is in order). Its handling is more precise, yet at the same time more insane. The Mitsu is rawer, rougher, tougher and most importantly faster, even though it's down half a liter on the WRX STI in terms of displacement. Don't read this wrong, the STI is a fine backroad killer. But the EVO is more homicidal.

*It looks like a toned down Evo, which is exactly what Mitsubishi wants you to think.*
Back to that gap. In the middle of its arch rival's portfolio has long lived the WRX (http://www.autoblog.com/model/wrx), Subaru (http://www.autoblog.com/make/subaru/)'s Goldie Loxian sportster, which is very fast, very nimble, but very well priced (it still starts at under $25,000). The WRX has long threaded the needle between excellent all-around performance and the customer not being able to afford a higher monthly payment. Subaru, therefore, has sold a ton of them, for not only does the WRX offer all that power and rally-bred oomph at a low price, it can be had as a wagon. Mitsubishi had nothing until this year, when the Japanese industrial powerhouse brought over two new flavors of its hopped-up Lancer, the Ralliart and the Ralliart Sportback (http://www.autoblog.com/2009/01/30/officially-official-2010-mitsubishi-lancer-sportback-on-sale-in/).

Today we're taking a look at the supposedly more practical of those two additions, the five-door Sportback. When the pictures of the Lancer Sportback Ralliart started spilling onto this here internet, Yours Truly was especially excited. The main reason being that for the past eight years, I've owned a WRX wagon in one form or another. Biased? You could say that, but at that same time, I've been driving Evos against STIs and have remained aware (perhaps painfully aware) that the Evo is the sharper blade. Perhaps, then, the Sportback Ralliart could be my next fast and furious wagon, or at least go wheel-to-wheel with its competition from Fuji Heavy Industries? Hop the jump to find out.
