AWD conversion

I know how expensive it is to convert fwd to awd .. but I was wondering if it would be easier/cheaper to buy a gsx and swap out the engines .. ( I have too much money in mine to start over ) , then it would be to try a conversion ....

I have a 99 gst with 50k miles .. and I'm guessing that I could probably get 10,000 out of it if I put it back to stock and sold it ..
If I could find a 97-99 gst for 6500 - 7500 (with higher milage) b/c I'll be swapping out the engine anyways ...

So if you do the math .. I get about 2500-3500 from switching cars (minus taxes). Or even if I found a good one for 8-10k .. I wouldn't be losing/paying that much money for the awd.

Well if your still with me .. I'm asking if this would be cheaper? and what problems would I run into swaping the engine over? .... would my struts/springs transfer as well? (tokico blues/ neuspeed)?

Sorry if this is confusing. :?

one of my fav questions. Depends how cheap you can get the parts and how much labor you want to put into your car. Its a big job but can be done easily. Just takes time and brain power. if you can get a cheap awd and swap your built motor(6bolt i take it) then you can also do that. Less head ache...find i 2g awd with no motor and swap in the 6bolt and there ya go
